DUFFY, Circuit Judge.

This is a patent infringement suit involving C. A. Heiland Patent No. 2,580,427 issued January 1, 1952, on an application filed August 11, 1944. The patent relates to a recording apparatus or oscillograph, and is used to photographically produce a graphic representation of such conditions as temperature or pressure changes, mechanical vibrations, heartbeats, sounds and many other variables.
