A jury found appellant Cummings guilty on each count of a 4-count indictment and he was sentenced to 3-year concurrent terms of imprisonment on each. Count 1 charges violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2316 by the transportation of 20 cattle from Manitoba, Canada, to Topeka, Kansas, with knowledge that they had been stolen.
