The defendant, Harold W. Danser, Jr., was found guilty on three counts of an indictment1 charging him with violations of Sec. 17(a) of the Securities Act of 1933, 15 U.S.C.A. § 77q(a). Judgment was entered on December 1, 1959 and defendant was sentenced on each count to pay a fine of $5,000 and be imprisoned for one year. The execution of the prison sentence was suspended and defendant was placed on probation...
