On October 2, 1959, appellant was convicted upon her plea of guilty in Criminal District Court No. 3 of Harris Count for the unlawful possession of a Narcotic drug in violation of Art. 725b, Vernon's Ann. P.C. and her punishment assessed at confinement in the penitentiary for 3 years.

Execution of sentence was deferred and appellant was placed upon probation upon certain terms and conditions.
