In 1921, the defendant, Joe Profaci, immigrated to the United States from Italy, the land of his birth. Six years later, in September of 1927, the defendant, then in his thirtieth year, was admitted to citizenship and a certificate of naturalization was issued to him. Now, some thirty years later, the court below, under § 304(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, 8 U.S. C.A. § 1451(a), has set aside Profaci's naturalization...
