Lonnie L. Chapman brought a suit in the district court of DeSoto Parish for total and permanent disability under the Workmen's Compensation Law of Louisiana (LSA-R.S. 23:1021 et seq.) as the result of an accidental injury received while he was employed by the defendant. The hazardous employment and the accident were not contested, and the only issues that were in dispute during the trial in the lower court were the extent and duration of the disability...
