The plaintiffs invested $11,700 in the purchase of shares of stock of Bonanza Oil Corporation as a result of a transaction in which the defendants participated. The sale took place in California. Bonanza Oil Corporation was a Nevada corporation which had not obtained a permit to sell its stock in the State of California. By their complaint the plaintiffs, in one count, allege that the defendants bought this stock for them as their agents, paying 10 cents...
