Petitioner, Theodore Green was found guilty by a jury in the district court for the District of Massachusetts on a three-count indictment charging, (1) entry into a bank with intent to commit a felony and (2) robbery, both in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2113(a), and (3) armed robbery, in violation of 18 U.S. C. § 2113(d). On October 27, 1952, he was sentenced to 20 years on Count 1, 20 years on Count 2, and 25 years on Count 3, being the maximum...
