This was a proceeding brought by appellant George Blomgren Dewey against the United States to vacate and set aside a judgment of convictions under two indictments. Indictment Number 2249 contained two counts, each in effect charging appellant with transporting in interstate commerce certain securities of a value exceeding $5,000.00, knowing the same to have been obtained by fraud.
