Petitioner was born in China and in 1943 while in Australia he voluntarily entered the armed forces of the United States. He was on active duty until September 25, 1946 when he was honorably discharged. Petitioner entered the United States as a seaman on November 3, 1958. He was not lawfully admitted for permanent residence at the time of entry. On February 5, 1959 petitioner filed a petition for naturalization and sought to avail himself...
