Appellant was a passenger train engineer employed by the appellee railroad. He sued the railroad under the Federal Employers' Liability Act1 for injuries suffered in the course of his employment. The jury awarded him a total of $15,000.00 damages, of which about $6,500.00 represented pecuniary loss, the balance being attributable to the physical injuries.
