In this action of tort, the plaintiff, a patient at the defendant hospital, was hurt in a fall from an X-ray table, in circumstances which would warrant the verdict the jury returned in her favor, unless the defendant should be ruled as matter of law to have established the defence of charitable immunity. The case is reported upon the correctness of the judge's rulings in denying the defendant's motions for a directed verdict and for entry of a verdict...
