The appellants, Sebastian Della Universita and Mary Lou Russano, were convicted upon an indictment filed August 14, 1957, which charged that "Commencing on or about the 1st day of January, 1951 and continuously thereafter" until the filing of the indictment they had conspired with certain named persons, including Ralph Russano, Michael Botto, Joseph Ambrosini and Robert Guipone, "and with others to the grand jury unknown" to traffic in narcotics...
