On August 13, 1956 the United States filed a complaint for the forfeiture of a 1955 Ford Sedan, on the ground that it transported an article of "contraband firearms" contrary to the provisions of 49 U.S.C.A. §§ 781-788. After some delay the Fallsway Finance Corporation was permitted to intervene and file an answer to the suit for forfeiture as claimant of the automobile.
