The accident occurred at about 7:45 a. m. on August 18, 1954, on State Trunk Highway 44 about five miles south of Oshkosh. The defendant Kickhafer was employed at the Winnebago State Hospital located near Oshkosh. She resided with her brother, Ferdinand Pansie, on a farm near the point of the accident.
