This suit was brought by appellee, Henry Alton Brooks, against appellant, Houston Lighting and Power Company, to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by him when the aluminum handle of a mop or float he was using to smooth concrete on the unfinished third floor of the Heights Hospital Annex being constructed on Ashland Street in Houston, created an electrical contact with one of appellant's high-voltage wires.
