Dr. W. H. Horn and Bertie Lee Horn [his first wife] had four children, all living and now adults. They are: W. C. Horn, Ray H. Horn, Claud H. Horn, and Ida (Horn) Hearn. Bertie Lee Horn died in 1940, owning considerable real and personal property in her own name and right, but her estate was apparently kept together and handled by her husband and children until 1954 when letters of administration were requested.
