This is an appeal from the denial by the District Court of relief under 28 U.S.C. § 2255 (1952). The facts are as follows:

On January 24, 1952, appellant pleaded guilty to a one-count indictment charging unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in violation of D.C.Code, § 22-2204 (1951).
