Clinton Evans was killed in an accident when the car driven by his cousin Leo Beasley, in which he was a guest, collided with a truck driven by George Slate. Evans' administratrix sued Leo and Slate jointly for $25,000 damages caused decedent's estate and for $642.44 for his funeral expenses. Leo and Slate did not sue each other. The jury returned a verdict against Leo for $15,000 and against Slate for $642.44, and from the judgment entered thereon Leo...
