John Dennis Johnson, a rice farmer engaged in the growing, harvesting, marketing and drying of rice, instituted this suit for damages in the sum of $8,894.42 against the Providence Equipment Company, a commercial partnership composed of Hugh L. Kennedy and Albert P.
