The plaintiff herein brought suit against Henry Johnson and his wife, Mary D. Johnson, to recover a balance claimed for services rendered in moving a house. A defense to the merits of the claim was made by Henry Johnson, who denied the confection of the contract and further denied that he authorized his wife to enter into such an agreement.
