This is an action on a life insurance policy. The face amount is $1,000. The insured took out the policy and caused the plaintiff, his wife, to be named beneficiary therein. He did not reserve the right to change the beneficiary. During his lifetime and while the policy was in effect, the insured borrowed money from the company, without the consent of the plaintiff beneficiary.
