By this action plaintiffs sought to confirm their right to take four inches of water from Grub Ravine during the irrigation season and to enjoin defendants' interference with that right. Defendants denied plaintiffs' right to take water, alleged their own prescriptive right to take all the water flowing through their land in Grub Ravine, and prayed that their own right be quieted against the claims of plaintiffs.
