Mrs. Evelyn Acker, the widow of Emory O. Acker, instituted proceedings in the circuit court of Jefferson County, Bessemer Division, under the Alabama Workmen's Compensation Law to obtain compensation for herself and for her minor children.—Chapter 5, Title 26, Code 1940.
