The defendant was indicted on November 19, 1948 for the crimes of robbery, grand larceny and assault in the second degree and assault in the third degree. He was found guilty, as charged, and on February 8, 1949 he was sentenced by the Honorable LOUIS GOLDSTEIN, then a Judge of this court, to consecutive terms of not less than 15 years and not more than 30 years, on each of the counts charging robbery in the second degree.
