Stevens, has brought this suit under provisions of the Workmen's Compensation Statute, LSA-R.S. 23:1021 et seq., for the death of her husband, caused by injuries arising out of his employment. Made defendants are J. E. Mitchell, the the immediate employer of Stevens, Elmo Tullos, allegedly the principal contractor and remote employer, and the latter's insurer, Consolidated Underwriters.
