On September 6, 1935 petitioner entered a plea of guilty in the then Hudson County Court of Quarter Sessions to each of the nine indictments hereinabove enumerated, each indictment charging him with the crime of robbery. He was thereupon sentenced by Hon. Thomas F. Meaney, judge of the said court, to be imprisoned in the New Jersey State Prison at Trenton, New Jersey, for not less than three years nor more than five years under each indictment, all...
