This is a tort action arising out of an automobile collision which occurred on Christmas morning of 1952 in the Parish of Lafourche.

The petition alleges that on the day aforementioned the plaintiff Louis P. Soudelier was driving his Ford automobile at about 8:30 A.M. at a speed of about 35 miles per hour on U. S. Highway No. 90 from Thibodaux, Louisiana, in the direction of New Orleans, Louisiana, when he was involved in a head-on collision...
