Appellant, a constable of Dade County, was informed against by Dade County officials, and, pending disposition of these charges, the then Governor of Florida suspended appellant from office. The charges were ultimately dismissed, the gubernatorial suspension was revoked, and appellant was reinstated as constable. Appellant timely filed a claim with the Board of County Commissioners of Dade County for compensation...
