Alleging that he was denied the right to choose his own counsel, appellant seeks reversal of his conviction of assault with intent to kill and assault with a dangerous weapon.

He was indicted on March 23, 1955, and, within a week, accompanied by Mr. Myer Koonin, an attorney who had filed an appearance on his behalf, was arraigned and pleaded not guilty. On April 15, 1955, Mr. David Smith also entered his appearance for appellant. The...
