WILLIAMS, J.

This is an action against the State of New York under the Merchant Marine Act of 1920 (U. S. Code, tit. 46, § 688) commonly known as the Jones Act. The deceased was a State employee. His administratrix, the present claimant, appeals from a judgment of the Court of Claims dismissing the claim for want of jurisdiction.
