Plaintiff, who is 43 years old, was in the employ of defendant as a laboror in its drayage and storage business, admittedly of a hazardous nature and subject to the provisions of the Workmen's Compensation Statute. On November 8, 1954, as he was shoving some machines off a wagon, plaintiff slipped, fell and injured his back and was sent to see Dr. John D. Andrews, the employer's physician, who diagnosed the injury as a moderately severe lumbo-muscle...
