On or about February 11, 1954, appellee-plaintiff while playing baseball sustained an injury to the distal joint of the index finger of her left hand. On or about February 19, 1954, she went to appellant-defendant, Dr. Walter F. Hart, for treatment. This was her first trip to the doctor after the injury.
