On November 7, 1952, appellant was observed by two police officers to be driving on North Fourth street in the city of Milwaukee in excess of the speed limit, or at 39 m.p.h. in a 25 m.p.h. zone. The officers ordered him to stop. He did so, and after the officers had talked to him, they concluded from his manner of acting that he was under the influence of intoxicating liquor and placed him under arrest.
