The defendants, husband and wife, were charged jointly in two complaints, each complaint alleging a different period of time in neglecting to cause their minor child to attend school as required by G.L. (Ter. Ed.) c. 76, § 1, as appearing in St. 1939, c. 461, § 3, as amended, the said minor having failed during each of the said periods to attend school for seven day sessions or fourteen half day sessions...
