This appeal is taken to reverse a conviction and sentence entered upon a jury verdict finding defendant guilty on all counts of a six-count indictment charging violations of sections 1503 and 1621, Title 18, U.S.C.A.

Count I of the indictment charged that defendant did "knowingly, wilfully, unlawfully, feloniously and corruptly endeavor to influence a witness before the grand jury and to obstruct, influence and impede the due administration...
