Previous to August 1, 1946, defendant and appellant Villa Sorr was the owner of lots 11 and 12, block 2, Coridon Smith's addition to the village of Sparta. Each of these lots was 33 feet wide (east and west) and 132 feet long (north and south). Highway route M-37 runs north and south immediately adjacent to the east boundary line of lot 12.
