Wetzel, Robert "Ohio" Jones and Robert Harrison for the murder of Edgar G. "Sonny" McGraw on April 14, 1953, on a turnrow near the edge of a cornfield on the penal farm of the Mississippi State Penitentiary in Sunflower County. The appellant was tried separately.
