I. This case was before us on a prior appeal, taken by the plaintiff from a verdict and judgment in favor of the defendant by direction of the court. We reversed, holding that the question of defendant's negligence was for the jury. Nicholson v. City of Des Moines, Iowa, 60 N.W.2d 240.
