Butler, plaintiff herein, sued on indebtedness arising from the nonpayment of a balance due on a chattel mortgage note and therein sought recognition of the chattel mortgage lien on the mortgaged property. By way of answer, the defendant asserted a reconventional demand for $695.48, comprising counter claims for three items, viz: $425 for wood sold plaintiff; $85 as cash advanced and $185.48...
