CANDLER, Justice.

Henry A. Crawford and Harold Griggs were jointly indicted for murder in Early County. The indictment alleges that they unlawfully and with malice aforethought killed James Bush on November 14, 1953. They were separately tried, and upon conviction for murder each was sentenced to serve in the penitentiary for the remainder of his life.
