Appellant and one Ward, officers of the Uniformed Firemen's Federal Credit Union, were jointly indicted for offenses concerning the Union's funds and records. Count 1 charged that the defendants conspired1 to embezzle and misapply Union funds, conceal material facts, and make false statements and entries.
