This case was before this Court in Sokolsky v. Feigen, Fla., 49 So.2d 88. The defendant owned a hotel. It received its power for lighting from the Florida Power and Light Company which has a monopoly for furnishing electric power in that area. The plaintiffs were guests at the hotel and on the afternoon in question, had been for a walk. The weather was bad and cloudy, which had resulted in excessive use of electricity...
