Appellee, whom we will refer to as the plaintiff, recovered a judgment for damages to his truck caused by a collision with defendant's automobile about 2:45 a. m., December 2, 1951.

Norman Woodsmall and defendant lived at Marshalltown, Iowa, and had been "keeping company", as she expressed it, for several months prior to December 2, 1951. Defendant owned a 1951 Chevrolet car. Woodsmall did not own a car. Defendant was employed as a nurse...
