This is a suit for compensation for the period of disability not to exceed 400 weeks. It was originally against the employer, M. I. Davis Co., Inc., and Preferred Accident Insurance Company of New York, but the insurance company went into receivership and on May 28, 1951 a judgment was entered in the nineteenth judicial district of Louisiana at Baton Rouge, appointing the Hon. Wade O. Martin, Jr., Secretary...
