HAMMOND, J., delivered the opinion of the Court.

The question to be decided in this case is whether Maryland can try criminally a father living in the State on the charge of wilful failure to support his children who live in another State.

The appellee and his family formerly resided in Delaware. In 1950 he was there indicted for desertion and non-support of his two minor children, and on a plea of guilty, was ordered to pay a lump sum for past non-support...
