On October 10th 1951, a bill of information was filed in the Nineteenth Judicial District Court for the Parish of East Baton Rouge, charging appellee with theft of $63.89 from Peter Crifasi on or about August 20th, 1951. On November 24th, 1952, the District Attorney nolle prosequied this information and substituted in its place and stead a new bill charging appellee with theft of $47.94 from Crifasi on or about August 20th and 21st, 1951.
