Charles E. Kiewel was held to be in contempt of court for failing to answer questions propounded to him by a grand jury which he deemed might tend to incriminate him. The facts are not in dispute.

As early as 1948 an Internal Revenue agent sought to interview Mr. Kiewel concerning income tax matters. Kiewel was president of the Minneapolis Brewing Company. It does not definitely appear from the record, but the broad implication is inherent...
