Robert Bauer procured a judgment against the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway Company for $952 for three cows which had been killed by a train of the defendant on a private railroad crossing of the defendant. The defendant entered a motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict and in the alternative for a new trial. These motions were denied by the court and an appeal has been perfected to this court to reverse...
