Joel Carson, being held in the Arkansas State Penitentiary, presented a petition for a writ of habeas corpus to the Circuit Court asking to be released from prison on the ground that he had theretofore been pardoned by the Governor of the State of Arkansas. The Circuit Court denied the petition and we are asked to review the decision of that Court on petition for certiorari.
